This is the place where you can finally breathe a little easier, find steadiness in the chaos, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you thought were gone.

This work exists because I understand one thing very clearly: you don’t just want to cope. You want to feel calm in your body, connected in your relationships, and proud of how you show up in your life...without the guilt, shame, or pressure to be perfect.

And more than that? You want tools that actually work in the moment: when your child is melting down, when your partner hits a nerve, when your nervous system feels like it’s about to short-circuit. You want support that doesn’t just explain why you react, but helps you actually shift those patterns, for good.

I’ve spent more than a decade as a psychologist, sitting with people in their hardest moments. And I’ve been there myself too; navigating overwhelm, self-doubt, and the heavy load of trying to keep it all together. That mix of clinical expertise and lived empathy is what shapes everything I offer here.

Why this work, why this way, and why it matters

I’ve always been drawn to the why.


Even as a teenager reading crime novels, I wasn’t hooked by who did it, I wanted to understand
what made them tick. Why they snapped, spiralled, disconnected, disappeared.

That curiosity never left me. It just evolved into a calling.

I began studying psychology in 2006, and went on to complete my Masters and Doctorate in Forensic Psychology. Since qualifying in 2015, I’ve spent over a decade supporting people in some of the most emotionally intense corners of life; from secure units and prisons, to inpatient hospitals and community services.

Through it all, one thing became clear:
People don’t just need insight. They need support that changes how they feel in the moments that matter most.

My approach: Real conversations. Regulated change.

Yes, we talk. But this isn’t “just talking.”


We get curious about where your emotional patterns began, and what’s been keeping them stuck. Then we gently untangle that web, while building new tools for emotion regulation and relational repair in real time.

Whether we’re working together 1:1, or you’re using my digital resources, you’ll learn to:

  • Understand your nervous system and what triggers you

  • Regulate emotions while life is happening, not just in hindsight

  • Set boundaries, ask for what you need, and show up with compassion (for others and yourself)

Because it’s not about being perfect.
It’s about being proud of how you show up, even whn things are hard.

Therapeutic foundations (that feel anything but clinical)

My work is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice, and shaped by the real-world emotional trenches I’ve sat in, professionally and personally. I bring a unique blend of psychological depth and practical care, drawing from:


DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)

Tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relational effectiveness. I lead DBT services, co-chair the South Wales DBT Local Area Network, and have received the Association of Psychological Therapies Excellence in DBT Award.


EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

For healing trauma, shifting deep-seated emotional responses, and restoring inner safety.


Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)

A compassionate lens on relational patterns, identity, and how past experiences shape the way you move through the world.

These models inform how I help you move from stuck to steady, insight to action, guilt to groundedness.
